I thought this was a beautifully created piece made from paper

This is the direction I wanted to go with my Welcome necklace

I thought this piece was really amazing and the colours really stood out

This is a piece that I wanted to re-create

My bag/OBJECT

Made today in object , I found this task really easy and enjoyable as I already have basic skills thanks to my mum, I made a bag with a long handle strap with lavalava material on one side and plan on the other side.
I know its a little bigger than the size of a ping pong bat, but I thought I would like to make a bag that can fit all of my books.

Our creating an extension of body/OBJECT

I went with extension of myself this is just one of the head pieces that I made, when I created it I decided to go along the theme of the headpiece worn by Rarotongan dancers and found with paper card you can get a really bright and wide effect.
Whats not working
Whats not working was how flimsy the card is and I had to re enforce the back just to get it to stand up, although it was a fun piece to make

Whats working
Whats working would have to be the colours and the effect that the paper brings to the headpiece it was also easy to join and I didnt need to bind it or make rivits as it was made with glue and cellotape

Object creating with paper/OBJECT

Making 10 things with paper

So we had to quickly dervise 10 things made out of paper
I think we had about 3mins to create these things, we were told if a alien came down and asked us to show them how magnificent paper is how would we do it.
Because we did not have very much time as you can see creating things was alittle hard.

My star box /OBJECT

Done and completed step by step

Today following these steps we had to create this origami star box I would have to say it was a mission as the directions were not very clear and printed out quite dark, although we did manage to make them.
It was fun after I worked out how to do it.
Not sure it I would be able to make another one with out the instructions though.

Soviet Montage/ what is Soviet Montage

via Cameraman via Google+

Soviet montage theory is an approach to understanding and creating cinema that relies heavily upon editing (montage is French for 'assembly' or 'editing'). Although Soviet filmmakers in the 1920s disagreed about how exactly to view montage, Sergei Eisenstein marked a note of accord in "A Dialectic Approach to Film Form" when he noted that montage is "the nerve of cinema", and that "to determine the nature of montage is to solve the specific problem of cinema".
